I was never much of a web site main­tainer. I thor­oughly enjoy com­ing up with an archi­tec­ture and imple­ment­ing it, but as soon as the ship launches, my job is done.

Of course with my own site it’s a dif­fer­ent story. When I was abroad, it seemed like a good idea to run my own blog, I even went so far as to put up an entire web­site along­side the paper newslet­ter I send out quar­terly when I lived in Chicago.

When I launched this web­site a lit­tle over a year ago I kept the focus on pic­tures rather than text. This time around I want to take a lit­tle step back into the blog world. Just a small one, not hav­ing any cat­e­gories, com­ments, tags and such but just a plat­form for me to write down a cou­ple lines.

It might come in handy. Until then–
